This Mexican salsa has a crisp flavor and tanginess that’s a yummy change from the usual red salsas. Pureed green tomatillos and green chili peppers serve as the two main ingredients that form a spicy taste combination. Several recipe variations exist with some calling for one or all of the following the lemon juice, lime juice, onion, and cilantro. Also look for milder Italian versions for topping savory meats.
